      <title>WCFC Girls and Boys Headed to NY State Cup Finals</title>

WCFC will be sending 5 girls teams and 2 boys teams to the championship match of the State Cup event sponsored by US Club Soccer.&nbsp; Overall WCFC had 12 teams reach the semi-final stage of the cup competition.</strong></span>&nbsp;       <title>World Class FC Boys Accepted into USSF Development Academy Program for 2013 / 2014 Season</title>

        <![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 14px">CHICAGO (March 18, 2013) &ndash;&nbsp;&nbsp; The U.S. Soccer Development Academy has announced the inclusion of 22 new clubs to the Under-13/14 age division in preparation for the inaugural 2013-14 season. The new clubs will join existing Academy clubs in the new U-13/14 program starting next fall.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 14px">The U-13/14 Academy program is based on the same philosophy as the older Academy age groups, which features more training sessions, less games and more meaningful competition. The competitive schedule will place a greater emphasis on local games due to the younger ages of the players and will also include a futsal component during the winter.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 14px">In the coming weeks, the Development Academy will announce the full 2013-14 schedule and team/division breakdown for the U-13/14 Academy season</span></p><p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 14px">&ldquo;We are excited to add 22 new clubs to the Development Academy system in the U-13/14 age group,&rdquo; Development Academy Director of Scouting Tony Lepore said.&ldquo;We feel that it is very important to spread the Academy philosophy to an expanded pool of players and clubs in this age group as we launch our first season of U-13/14 programming this fall. The new clubs have the qualities we look for in the areas of coaching, player pools, training programs, facilities, infrastructure and age-appropriate development philosophy.         <![CDATA[<p><strong><span style="font-size: 16px">At the <u>NEWSS College Showcase</u>, the U18 ECNL team beat Waterloo United FC from Canada 2-0 in the Championship match to bring home top honors in the top rated Showcase bracket.&nbsp; The girls posted wins against Albertson SC and Highlands Wildcats and a draw against the NJ Wildcats to advance to the championship match.&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 16px">The U14, 15, 16 and 17 ECNL teams also participated in the NEWSS tournament with each team finishing in second place in their bracket.</span></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 16px">At the <u>MSSL Winter College Showcase</u> the U15 NPL team posted 3 wins and 1 loss to take first place in the Super Group bracket.&nbsp; The team defeated the second place Metuchen SC Rover Juniors in their final match to win the bracket and take home first place.&nbsp; </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 16px">The U16 NPL team (finished in third place in their bracket) and U15 Spurs (finished in second place in their bracket) also participated in this event.&nbsp; </span></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 14px">Three World Class FC players were selected to attend the<em> invite only</em> id2 camp held in Portland, CT in October.&nbsp; Taylor Aylmer of the U15 ECNL girls team was joined by Sarah Jordan and Melina Couzis of the U13 ECNL Jr. team.&nbsp;&nbsp; Sarah and Melina were 2 of the 3 U13&rsquo;s invited to this very elite event.&nbsp;&nbsp; Approximately 60 players from ages U13-U15 across the entire country were invited.</span></p><div style="text-align: justify">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 14px">The id2 camp is a national identitfication program that is sponsored by US Club and Nike.         <![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify"><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong><span style="font-size: 14px">Kaitlyn McNamara, a member of the WCFC U16 ECNL team, has been selected to the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) U17 Womens Youth National Team.</span></strong></span><strong><span style="font-size: 14px">&nbsp; The Irish side will face the Danes at the Frank Cooke Park on Tuesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 6 in some friendly matches as they prepare for the UEFA U17 Championships.&nbsp; </span></strong></p><p style="text-align: justify"><strong><span style="font-size: 14px">Ireland will travel to Belarus in October for the first qualifying phase of the UEFA U17 Championships. On October 1 they meet Belarus, on October 3 they meet Georgia and on October 6 they will meet Finland.
